rbidr HAS ARRIVED: IT’S ABOUT TIME

After more than 2 years of quiet innovation and development, rbidr emerges from stealth mode to meet the world.

Technology and ecommerce have brought about a new era of frictionless, near-perfect marketplaces. With the introduction of patent-pending, innovative tools, rbidr extends that trend to both buyers and sellers of time-based inventory (TBI).

TBI refers to any inventory that can be sold according to time. Examples of TBI include an hour on a tennis court, or a month’s placement on a billboard. rbidr provides buyers and sellers with optimizing capabilities, as well as an environment in which to transact. According to rbidr’s founder and CEO, David Steigelfest, there are some very large markets to be tapped.

“The entire media industry: TV, radio, out-of-home, Internet, is all about the buying and selling of time-based inventory. There is significant optimization and efficiency to be gained via technology, and rbidr is poised to be extremely disruptive in media, and other, verticals.”

rbidr was founded in 2007 in New York City to provide an eCommerce platform for time-based inventory. With revenue streams from custom software development engagements related to its transactional and TBI competencies, rbidr is poised to take the next step and bring its products to market. Towards that end, today marks the launch of rbidr.com, and with it a wealth of information about rbidr’s products and people.
